Ahoy Matey!

I’ve been slacking in the blog department.  I didn’t think anyone noticed until Sunday when my friend Betty alluded in a roundabout way that I was neglecting my blog,
“When the heck are you going to update your blog?”
She’s the really shy, quiet type.

I thought I’d blog about these cookies I made recently for my friend Courtney.  She was throwing a nautical party for her husband and asked if I could make cookies to match the invites and printables she was using.  I immediately fell in love with the graphics and isn’t that color combination to die for!?

I had so much fun making these because the style is so unique and definitely has that vintage vibe I love.  If you like these cookies, you have to go check out all the details of the party {and see my cookies in action!}.  Courtney did an amazing job putting it all together and her party was featured on Amy Atlas’ blog Sweet Designs.

Well, I know it’s short and sweet, but it’s an update!

I think this is the first time you have shown cookies done with royal icing designs AND hand-painted ones together. They are all beautiful and the detail in the octopus is amazing. (I'm assuming the nautical star was done with royal icing and not glaze)

This is the exact theme I am doing for my sons first birthday party! Would you be able to custom design (and ship) these cookies for me? Please let me know I am obsessed with them! Sarah sdenni31@hotmail.com

    Thanks!
    Beautiful!
