Thanks for listening! I love hearing from listeners and McGoobers. Keep the comments and questions coming!
Thank you so much for giving this talk about on Copyrights! I have a question, if I make cookies for my son’s swim team and I’m giving the team the cookies with the school logo, is that OK? Thanks again!
Great information! Thanks for making a complicated subject so very clear!! Be well, stay safe, and keep on rolling!!!
A little late to the party-but I just came across this and have a question! Do you know anything about why Cricut says we can buy Disney images and place them on shirts, mugs etc and sale them, but we cannot use the same images on a cookie? I have asked and the response was so confusing. I am wondering if its because shirts and mugs continue to advertise but once cookies are eaten, that product no longer advertises…your thoughts?
Many thanks!
Hi Stacey, You can buy Disney images for personal use. They are never for resale. Disney sells licenses to all partners and those licenses come at a high price. For cutters, those state on the package they are for home use only, not for resale. Be smart about your business. Don’t poke the bear! 🙂
After listening more, I have another question lol:
What about if you buy a cookie cutter directly from Disney? Are they assuming it is for personal use only and not selling the final product?
