Pre-Cookie Con Classes

Can you believe it?  The Cookie Con 2015 countdown has begun.  On Monday (March 23rd) tickets will go on sale.  You don’t want to miss this international cookie extravaganza!   (September 23 – 26, 2015)

If you like to:

  • decorate cookies
  • look at cookies
  • look at other people decorate cookies
  • talk about cookies
  • dream about cookies
  • learn about decorating cookies
  • eat cookies
  • want to meet people who are as crazy as you…

you belong here!  Cookie Con is held in beautiful downtown Salt Lake City among the majestic snow covered mountains of Utah.  People come from all over the U.S. and last year 16 countries were represented all in the name of COOKIES… and in case you were wondering:  Cookiers are the sweetest and most friendly people and they don’t bite… hard.

Mike and Karen Summers (the crazy awesome couple behind karenscookies.net and Cookie Con!) have a lot of fun things up their sleeves for this upcoming conference.  A new feature this year is they are starting the party a little early as they will host a series of Pre-Cookie Con classes where you can learn specific techniques and skills from some incredible teachers.  Check out all the teachers and details here.

I am so excited to teach my Pre-Cookie Con classes because it is like a party before the party!  How cool is that?!  Painting, piping, dimensional flooding, a little airbrushing, some sneaky tricks I use, royal icing transfers, did I mention painting? and everything in between is what I will be covering as I teach my renegade style of cookie decorating.

There will be 3 classes:

Wednesday, September 23rd 8:00 – 12:00:  Woodland Magic  $150.00  open to all

Wednesday, September 23rd 2:00 – 6:00 :  Boho Chic  open to McGoobers (annual subscribers) and is FREE!

Yes… I felt like Oprah a bit there.

Thursday, September 24th 8:00 – 12:00:  Circus  $150.00  open to all

So, how do you get in on this Arty Party?

I will be taking names starting Friday, March 20th at 2:00 pm (Pacific Standard Time) via email to reserve seats in each class.  The students will be enrolled in class by the order the emails are received.  I’m hoping this allows everyone who wants a spot some time to be notified about available classes.  Send emails to Mr. John at contact@artymcgoo.com and please include your name, class preference, and email that is linked to your paypal as that is how you will be invoiced (after registration for CookieCon opens).  Students will have 24 hours after being invoiced to send payment or forfeit their seat.

Fees for classes do not include a ticket to CookieCon. Tickets for CookieCon go on sale March 23, 2015.

Cancellations: Any student cancellation before August 31, 2015 will be given a full refund minus $15. No refunds will be given after August 31, 2015.

In the unlikely event that I have to cancel a class, a full refund will be given.

Good luck!  And may the odds be ever in your favor!
