“Micro Macro Florals”

From a teeny, tiny bud to layers of lush petals on a fully bloomed rose we experiment with scale in this month’s McGoo U.  Nothing goes better with flowers than… more flowers.  These coordinating florals would be gorgeous in all kinds of hues and would fit a myriad of occasions.  We pipe, paint, airbrush, and brush embroider our way to this beautiful trio of floral cookies.

This month we welcome Mr. John to the Expert Lab where he talks about everybody’s favorite subject: copyright.  It’s the topic we love to hate and want to ignore, but the truth is, it affects us, it can hurt us, and it can help us.  

We mix things up this month in Mix It Up and we play another game with guest cookier Andrea Walters of Andy Kay’s Cookies.  We play a couple of rounds of “Cookie Lip Reading” and the results are hilarious; so hilarious I think I deafened the headphone-wearing crew with my cackle!  One of us says a cookie-related phrase to the other who is listening to music in headphones that block out any sound and we attempt to lip-read what the other is saying.  

After School we revisit our “Real Housewives of Cookie County” skit series. 

~Dog Intervention
~Spa Day

In this episode we’ll see how our real housewives are getting along, and how Yoli will react to an ambush intervention over her obsession with Galleta, her dog. A snippet for the upcoming episodes reveals a little too much during the day at the spa.  A huge THANK YOU to our divas (for the day) Yoli Idos (Yoli’s Yummies), Monica Holbert (Cookie Cowgirl), Andrea Walters (AndyKay’s Cookies), Laurie Anglen (Cookie Bliss), and Georganne Bell (LilaLoa). It was so hilarious seeing these sweet ladies act like spoiled brats for the filming!

In this round of Smart Cookie business expert and entrepreneur mentor Marquita Miller joins us to talk about the things we need to be focusing on during the last quarter of the year.  How is your dough doing?  Are you rolling in dough?  Do you need more dough to reach your goals?  Marquita guides us on how we can reach our business goals.

As always we finish off the day with a relaxing and impromptu design using the Extra Frosting from class.
